Marley Jean - 11 months!

Here is Marley 11 months old! The time is flying with her and she is so much fun. We have been teaching her sign language, and today Blake said that she doesn't need sign language because whenever she wants something she just lets out a shriek and points to it and we know what she means. She can actually sign a few things when she wants to. She knows dog (although she hits her chest when she does it), hot, more, milk and she is starting to do bird. She says Strat a bit more clearly now and has added to her words Grandpa, Grandma and cucka. She started walking a bit last month and can take about 10 steps and then she loses her balance. She prefers to crawl monkey style though! She is still as sassy as ever and very much the climber. She loves to explore and does not like to be caged in (being in a room with the door closed or have any kind of barrier). She does the stairs very well and one of her favorite things to do is to climb up and down them. She still hates to be thrown in the air and will only let me hold her for a few minutes until she wants back down to explore the world.
Trying to get a picture of the kids looking normal is a challenge. Stratton always strikes some odd pose and Marley always reaches for the camera. She loves cameras, cell phones and remotes. Just a note: don't ever let her play with your cell phone, she will either ruin it or access the Internet.

Marley loves to read! If she is crying for no apparent reason I read her a story and she soon forgets why she was upset and starts pointing at the pictures. She tries to bark and meow, but they come out as high sounds. My dad has taught her to sing, it is so cute!! He'll sing 'Ahhhhh' to her and she does it right back to him!
