Bear Lake

We were able to get away for the weekend for a family reunion at Bear Lake. S loved the sand, a little too much! He wanted to take the lake and the sand home with us when we left. S wasn't too sure about the water at first, but he got really brave and ran out a few times. He also got to go on the boat and waverunners with Dad, while Mom basked in the sun with two-week-old MJ. S even let mean Uncle J bury him in the sand (well, up to his knees anyway.)

Here is a recent picture of MJ! She sure is growing, even though she looks pretty small. She is more alert now and smiling a lot especially when S calls her, "Sweetie Pie." Yep, she still looks just like him....

The Fourth of July

This week has been a fun one, with our new little addition to the family. MJ has been a pretty good baby, although Dad swears she is fussier than S. I just think he forgot what it is like to have a newborn in the house.

S enjoyed the fireworks. Here he is with his cousins watching the fun family fireworks.

S's Uncle J let him pick out a few fireworks to light. After he lit the fountain J said, "Run away!!!" S did just that....

On the day of the Fourth we had a family barbeque, complete with a pinata!! S is really getting good at hitting pinatas.

We took a short trip to Kemmerer, Wyoming for Dad's cousin's wedding. The wedding was beautiful and it was fun to see all of Dad's family.

On our way home from Kemmerer we stopped at Grandma's house to change into pajamas. There was a little white Lab there that thought it was fun to nip at S. S on the other hand didn't like it one bit!!!

This last picutre is some brother/sister bonding. S loves to be by MJ and make sure she has her "blinky" (binky).
