Marley Jean
Happy Birthday Marley!!
Today is Marley's birthday and here are a few shots from the day and just a few things about Marley.
She wakes up in the morning singing songs and she goes to be at night by saying, "Bye!"
She gets loves opening things such as, ointment, baby powder, chapstick, sunscreen, and applying it to her face.
She is a tomboy - she loves to play cars with Stratton and she loves to be outside getting dirty! Bugs are her favorite, she likes to squish them with her bare hands. (I hope PETA isn't reading this)
She loves princess things and PINK. She calls all the princesses 'Ariel' and wears a different gown to bed each night.
She calls her blanket, her 'Pink'.
She loves her daddy and brother, but hands down, her MOM is her favorite!
The phrase she says the most during the day is: "I hold you me!" This means she wants me to hold her and usually I love it.
She can talk really well and will say things so clearly that I have to remember she is only two!
She is a bundle of joy and has the personality of 50 people, we just love her and think she is a riot!!!
For the past two weeks each night when I put her to bed she would say, "My birthday?" and I would reply, "It's in two weeks." She would smile and say, "Okay".
Happy birthday little princess!
I just have to say that she made her birthday fun for everyone! Every time she got a present her face would light up and her mouth would drop open. She would pause and then open it. She was so excited about everything. I missed the shot of her and Blake blowing out birthday candles together. It was priceless. She had a look of complete happiness on her face.

This is just a quick note to my best friend, Blake.
He turned 31 yesterday and guess what he did....he cleaned the house and prepared food for his own birthday party last night! What a guy! He did say he had a great day, I just want him to know I love him and am glad I married him.
Happy birthday babe!!!

Zoo part one and two
Before my brother left on his mission, we were able to go to the zoo with a bunch of the kids.
The zoo is really not my favorite place. The animals are sleeping or mysteriously absent from the 'habitats' most of the time and it is usually super hot. I go for my kids...so why would I go twice in the same month? Because my pass expires on June 30th and I wanted to make sure I got my money out of it.
I will not be buying another pass for a while...Anyway, here are some pictures from the time we went with my family where we stayed and stayed and stayed (and lost one child - and found her, thank goodness!) The second time I went I met a friend there and as per Stratton's request we only played at the park and rode the train.

My little brother, Jordan, left on his mission this week. What a sad day! He was at least ten years younger than all of us and he had four moms and three dads! (Lucky guy!) We all raised him and bugged him and love him! We are so proud that he chose to serve the Lord and Mesa is getting the cream of the crop!
We love you Jord!

Swimming!
The weather has been crappy lately - I think. Others disagree with me, but I don't like the rain and I especially don't like downpours! Anyway, even though the weather hasn't been great we have been able to go swimming a few times.
Marley sometimes likes swimming and other times she prefers walking around the pool. Stratton loves it and could play for hours in there. Jumping, diving (actually doing belly-flops) and looking for coins at the bottom of the baby pool.
Rain, rain go away!
Come again another day!

Pirate Program/Last day of school
This was no third rate program! Stratton's preschool teacher, Mrs. King put on a great program!! She puts in so much time and effort and it was sad to see the year end. However, Strat gets to go back to her in only three months! Yeah!
Stratton was Captain Braid Beard in the program and he did such a good job! We practiced his lines for weeks and he had them down and said them loudly - way to go buddy!

Memorial day weekend
We sometimes go to Idaho over Memorial day weekend and we definitely went this year because my little brother is leaving on his mission soon and wanted everyone to be there.
Usually it rains and we got away with it raining only Sunday, yahoo!
This is a classic picture of the old orange Ford that sits in the field by my Grandpa's old house. It makes the perfect table for all the hot dog roasting items!
Marley liked the s'mores!
