Aunt J in Seattle!!

This past weekend J came to Seattle on a business trip. As luck would have it her meetings were canceled her first day here and we got to spend the whole day together! First things first, J gave S an entire bag of suckers! Don't worry Dad and Mom didn't get left out. J brought Dad a "special treat" from K and to Mom one full dozen maple bars (yummy and yes, she is getting big, no thanks to the maple bars)!! J also brought S a Buzz Lightyear bubble gun, which he played with until all the bubbles were gone.

After the bubbles ran out we went to S's favorite place! He got to show J and her co-worker, T, the park. He played with J on the toys and then showed everyone how good he is at riding his tricycle.

The next day J got to hang out with us for a few hours. We took S to the small mall where he likes to ride the quarter rides they have.

Then we were off to J's hotel to swim!!! S and Dad had a blast "swimming" in the hot tub! Their first mistake was getting in the hot tub before getting in the big pool. After that who wants to get in COLD water? Anyway, they had fun splashing around and doing whatever it is that S was doing.

All too soon it was time to tell J goodbye!! It wasn't easy and we still miss her! Luckily she has another business trip scheduled in April!!

We love and miss you all!

Bouncing at Arena Sports

We took S to Arena Sports, an indoor soccer facility that has blow-up toys during the day when nobody is playing soccer. When we got there only one other kid was there. He left with his mom about ten minutes after we arrived so we had the place all to ourselves for about an hour!

Here are some great pictures of S and Dad playing around on the toys. . .

The ladder to get up the slide was way steep and at first it was a real struggle to get S up there. Dad finally just had him hold on piggy-back style and took him up.

S loved the slide and went down it too many times to count. He went backwards, forward and one time he rolled down (only because his dad showed him how fun it was.)

Here is S bouncing around.
They only had three blow-up toys at the Arena.
The last toy was an obstacle course. S got really worn out on it. . .
