No Marley didn't break her hand or wrist or anything, she actually got a nice second degree burn on her hand. She was happily laying on her stomach playing in her room and then decided to roll on her back then to her front again toward the heater. The heater is an oil heater that apparently gets really hot. Marley put her hand on the heater and started howling, but she didn't take her hand away for a couple of seconds. It seemed like she didn't realize where the pain was coming from and when she did it was too late. The wound blistered after a few minutes and then about an hour later I took her to the doctor. They popped the blisters by rubbing gauze over them, put ointment on and then wrapped the hand. Marley liked eating the new texture on her hand and then kind of left it alone for a day or so. We took the gauze off three days later and it is healing nicely!
This is just a cute picture of Stratton after he helped shovel the sidewalks. He got his own shovel for Christmas and he loves helping his dad!
Besides helping his dad, Stratton loves to dress up with his cousins! This is one of the funniest pictures I have ever seen. When he came out and asked his Aunt Sarah to put the cape on I couldn't stop laughing!! It was quite the sight! He and his cousin Maycee wanted to dress up and then dance. I know Blake loves this picture!!!
