We started the weekend off with a BANG. My little brother plays for SLCC soccer and was playing the University of Utah. We picked Blake up from work and dropped my brother off and we headed to the zoo for a quick hour before the game started. Stratton did not want to sit on this elephant because he thought he was going to get soaked.
After the zoo we went to the game. It was so fun to watch SLCC play and even better that Jordan is on the team. Here he is with his blond hair flowing in the wind (what a nice blurry action shot!) Three of us played for SLCC before Jordan, my older brother Jon, my older sister Jamie and then myself. What a great legacy...ha ha ha! Those were some of the funnest years! Jordan played great, but they lost 2-1, tough luck!
The next day we woke the kids up early and headed back to the U for a kids fair. It was more fun then I expected with everything FREE, yeah!
Everybody loved Curious George, well Strat, Kemry and Maycee did!
Did I mention everything was free? Free cotton candy, free hot dogs, free snow cones, free balloons, free candy, free fruit, free bread, free creamies...and so on. We lived it up and basically ate everything they had...
Oh yeah! Cotton candy!
Here is the crew with all their cool balloon creations.
They even got their faces painted, for free of course.
You could say we spent the entire weekend at the University of Utah because Blake and I went to the football game with our favorite Johnson friends that night. We were at the U more then we were at our house this weekend! By the way favorite Johnson friends, we had a blast at the game - thanks for inviting us! We also had a great weekend, but we are so glad that today is Sunday and is a day of rest, we needed it!
