Easter Happenings!

Here we are dying Easter eggs. Just so you know Blake also dyed our towels beforehand so that we could have a nice pastel effect! Marley spilled twice and unfortunately I didn't take her shoes off. She now has silver shoes with pink and yellow splotches. They were getting too small anyway! All of Marley's eggs either broke in the egg dying process or broke after because they had been manhandled so much. She had fun! I tried to hide that Marley was not wearing a shirt in these pictures. Blake was mortified and said, you aren't going to put these on the Blog are you?
We went to an Easter Egg hunt/birthday party and Marley thought it was the best thing ever. She loves putting objects into baskets, boxes, etc. At Stratton's first hunt we had to coax him to take more than one egg - this wasn't a problem for Marley!

Strat found a lot of eggs too!

The kids got silly string, which was the hit of the party! Stratton thought he was soooo funny getting people with it. He even saved about 1/4 of his to get his dad, but hasn't gotten him yet.

Easter morning was so beautiful! I don't usually like big bows on Marley, but could not find another one! I tried my hardest to down size it, but to no avail. She still looks cute! Strat on the other hand looks cute, but is wearing his Christmas vest - red!

Miss Marley!

Marley got a scooter, since she loves Strattons so much! She put on Stratton's helmet and tried it out in the living room. This helmet is so heavy she could hardly keep her head up! It is so comical to see her push herself around on this thing. Too bad she hasn't been able to ride it outside since it has been bad weather!
We always roll Easter eggs and this year was no exception, did I say 'roll' Easter eggs? I meant chuck them at each other. Doesn't Strat look so happy here?

On Sunday we traveled to Jason and Akaela's and the next day went to a petting zoo/pet store. Marley thought to goats were so cute and wanted to keep feeding them. I have to admit they were very cute, especially the little black ones. Jason tried to pick one up and it immediately said, "maa-maa".
