HALLOWEEN

Ahem...this is the serious beginning of the pumpkin carving session at the Johnson household...we did this for family home evening on Monday night and my boys look thrilled!
Stratton was determined to cut the entire bat out by himself.
Check out Marley in this picture...she saw the camera and said, "Cheese." She must take after Blake...ha ha ha.
Here are our magnificant pumpkins!

Stratton had preschool on Halloween and they had a little program that was so cute. It is too bad my video camera died and I could only take pictures. The kids said and did some funny things! Here is Stratton singing in one of the songs. He looks so innocent, but don't be fooled!
I had to post this picture for two reasons: This is Stratton's cousin and he has an awesome costume. He is Link from Zelda! Isn't he just perfect?
This is another part in Stratton's performance. A was checking out his mask thinking, wow he did an excellent job coloring that! Then I realized that he was gone when they made them and the teacher probably had to color it for him! Nice job on the coloring Mrs. King!
Strat was supposed to drop the spider for his part in this song. He did a couple of times and then decided to pretend to drop it and catch it instead. At least it looks like he is singing.
Great pose little man!
Here are two of Strat's cousins and a friend. I think this was the fourth picture I took and I still couldn't get them all to look at me. Did I mention this was the final picture? Stratton was giving me the death look.
Later on at my Mom's house I got a picture of half of the crew.
I never got a great picture of Marley, but Ash put Maycee's wig on her and she was all about having her picture taken for about 3 seconds. Oh I wish she had hair!!!
More costumes and kids!
Stratton got to trick or treat at Blake's work and then in the neighborhoods. I can't believe how much candy he had only after about 30 minutes! Don't worry, he didn't get any chocolate Pirate coins! Marley was so funny as a cat. She let me put the make-up on her face and then she looked in the mirror and smiled a huge smile. She held her tail and sucked on it throughout the day and didn't mess with her ears much at all. She even meowed when you asked what she was. I forgot to take a picture of Blake as a cowboy...it was a funny sight to see in those high-heeled boots with spurs and those kinda-lose wranglers. He is such a babe.

Looks like you guys had fun. Stratton makes a great Batman. I would have loved to watch that preschool program. Those things are the best.
