Today was Blake's Grandma Johnson's funeral. It was a tough day, but a day of remembering. Not only did we get to remember a great lady who was known for her remarkable gift of serving others in many ways, but we got to remember the reason we are here. It is amazing to me how one second a person is here and one second they are gone. It puts things into perspective. I am so thankful for so many things and I got to remember them today. I am thankful for the knowledge I have of the gospel, of premortal life and the purpose for life. I am thankful that I know families can be together forever and that our spirits never 'die'. I am thankful for a Savior who died for us and for a loving Heavenly Father who is always mindful of us.
The funeral was beautiful and we learned some fun things about Grandma Johnson. I just want to say that she was an awesome Great Grandma to Stratton and Marley and an equally awesome Grandma to Blake and I. She truly loved us!
We went to see her with the kids a couple of weeks ago and had a nice visit and took a few pictures....
We love you Grandma Johnson!

I was sad to hear that Grandma Johnson passed away, it sounds like from the way things were she was ready to go; What a reunion she is having with Grandpa Johnson and Cheryl. What a blessing in your home to have had your children the oppurtunity to meet there gr. grandparents and have photos w/them- not many are that lucky.
What a darling lady! I am thankful for the power that be to allow us to have our families forever.
