"We are safe here."

Stratton has been saying the funniest things today (and in the last little while) so I thought I'd share. This morning as we were trying to say family prayer he was hitting his ear saying, "Ouch, Ow!" We asked if he was okay, to which he said, "I have a frog in my ear." He continued to hit his ear. We again asked if he was okay. "It's dead." he said, and then folded his arms.
After the prayer Stratton says, "Family hug!" We all hugged tight and Stratton said, "We are safe here." This really got me. What a profound thing to say!
We were driving to my little brother's soccer game and saw the beautiful mountains and sky. I thought Stratton noticed this when he said, "That is so magical!" I said, "What is?" Stratton said, "You are." What a kid...
Last, but not least...Stratton always says, "Mom (or Dad, or Marley, or Grandma - basically whoever he is talking to) I love you and I like you."
