We are adjusting to life in Seattle. S has made some new friends, the only problem is they are part of the rodent family. Yep, he made friends with the kinda-scary squirrels at the nearby park. This park has made adjusting easier. We go to the park at least 2 times a day. The park features three playgrounds, a walking area, and plenty of squirrels. The squirrels themselves are fun to see, but beware! These squirrels want one thing and one thing only. . .FOOD. S took a bag of cookies to the park one day and the squirrels almost attacked him! Another day we brought some goldfish crackers in the stroller and the squirrels went to town (Luckily we were safely on the slide at the time). One of S new favorite pastimes is to chase the squirrels. He does not give up and will chase them clear across the park (13 acres!). In addition to chasing squirrels, S enjoys riding his new tricycle to the park and he loves playing on the toys at the park. The weather has been super nice the past two weeks, which is unheard of here in Seattle. It is usually foggy in the morning and then the sun decides to burn through the fog and make the days beautiful. Weather is supposed to change back to it's normal rainy reputation, but for now we are enjoying!
