I hate January...it is so long and so BLAH! I decided to end my blogging strike for now and post some pictures...
While Blake was gone to Wisconsin for business I made my favorite food: Macaroni, cheese and tomatoes. I know it sounds so gross and the only ingredients really are macaroni noodles, tomato juice and shredded cheese, but it so good! I make it whenever Blake isn't around. My kids and I LOVE it and basically had it for three days straight. This is Marley eating it up!
two-week old dirty snow is the worst!
You might wonder what is going on in this picture, but we are riding the bus to the Draper Temple open house. We went with most of Blake's family and this is Ash holding all the kids! (Stratton didn't want his picture taken)
We are so lucky to have so many temples near us and so lucky to be able to participate in the open house. The Draper Temple is so beautiful even though it is small and it was a great experience to walk through it with my kids!
Taking a picture of someone taking a picture??!!
That same day we went tubing at Jeremy Ranch with our friends from Washington. Let me clarify: only half of them came and only Blake and Strat really went tubing.
Here they are with their tubes!
You have to be three to do the tubing hills so Marley and I watched from below with Steve's parents and Marley entertained us almost the whole time. She loved being in charge of her tube!

Here are the three smaller hills with the bigger three hills behind them.
After about 1 1/2 hours in the cold Marley's hands were frozen! I didn't bring gloves because we had planned on going to the outlets for shopping instead of watching the tubing. We went into the warming station to warm up and this cutest little Japanese boy kept bringing Marley treats. He first brought a Nilla Wafer, Marley ate it right up. He then brought a juice box and a cup filled with cookies. I kept looking at the mom and she was actually getting it together for the boy to bring to us. I kept saying thank you and realized that they didn't speak any English. It was such a nice thing to do! See how happy she is:
We had to say goodbye again to our friends, but hopefully we'll be able to make a visit to Washington and say hello to them soon!
This my friends is Marley's new favorite place to hang out. It is my lazy susan. She likes to close herself up in here and dig for treats. She will bite through any wrapper. Just the other day I put boxes of oatmeal in this cupboard, thinking they would be safe! Not so! She opened the box and bit right into some oatmeal...she ate the whole thing dry! I actually feed her real food as you can see in the first picture on this blog!
I was a bit ticked that the other half of them didn't come (TARA!!), but Strat and Blake had so much fun with Steve and Caden.
(For some reason my camera has a blurry spot...maybe a fingerprint?)
This is Stratton checking out his picture from Caden. They haven't seen each other for about 18 months and they still remember each other! It is quite amazing.
